Dualmon makes it all so simple
Puntos a favor:
I access my computers as well as friends and family from all over the world. I get a bundle package that is economical per computer and allows me to group them based on the different groups I am helping.
Contras:
If they were going to improve it, I would like a way to stay connected for a set amount of time and a set amount of time since last activity.
Saves me so many headaches
Comentarios: We haven't had to use support even after a year which says something for the software. The 2FA security makes me feel better about the sign in process.
Puntos a favor:
I am able to sign on to every computer at two different locations to troubleshoot and help my employees with everything from parts ordering to warranty applications. Our Point of Sale uses a VPN that won't let us sign in remotely so I also use Dualmon to sign onto a computer on site to bypass this problem. The phone app is surprisingly good although that is always for emergencies as it is harder to navigate which is only due to the phone size and not the application.
Contras:
In some ways I wish that you could remember a computer and bypass the 2FA authenticator as it is a little tedious but the extra security is worth it.

The cost of the software is hard to beat.
Contras:
The ability to use dual monitors on separate screens makes this a deal killer for us to use as an every day option. It also runs considerably slower than its more expensive competitors
Exactly what I needed
Comentarios: Let’s me be in all my stores from anywhere in the world.
Puntos a favor:
This software gives me exactly what I need which is access to my entire office from anywhere, all in one place. Also allows me to permit others access and I can control what access they have. Works great even for set ups with dual monitors.
Contras:
I really don’t have one. I can’t say there’s something daily that bothers me. Or ever really. It’s very well done. Probably the character limit on this question on this review is the only thing that has annoyed me so far.
Very pleased with Dualmon
Comentarios: We use Dualmon to support pc's in multiple locations at our company. It makes for fast, easy connections. It allows us to troubleshoot issues as well as run remote processes with ease as if we were there. It's also great for remotely helping senior relatives with their pc problems without flying across the country just to get them back on FB! :o)
Puntos a favor:
We support around 50 computers and Dualmon does what it's supposed to do. It connects quickly, allows transfers of files easily and is relatively simple to install. Their pricing is fair and they don't jack the rates every year. I also like that they inform you of an upcoming renewal. Some companies just slam your credit card and don't let you know its time. Customer service is responsive.
Contras:
After having used similar software in the past, I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about Dualmon.
Great Remote Assistance and Management Tool
Comentarios: We switched to DualMon after TeamViewer raised their prices to absurd heights and have never looked back. DualMon does everything we need and more without breaking the bank

We mainly use the remote assistance side of DualMon and it is great. It installs and makes connections quickly, works through most firewalls, and auto-reconnects after reboots. The assistance client will stay on the remote PC until the session is stopped by either side. This is great for longer-term projects.
Contras:
The only negative thing I have to say is some customers are unsure of DualMon because they haven't heard of it, but that is quickly overcome.
I enjoy the simplicity

Being a small company bang for the buck is important, dualmon provides that. Although my primary business is Internet related most of my clients are small business' too. They too are looking for the best bang for the buck, so I leverage this service in providing IT support as well as online website support. I have been a customer for several years and highly recommend this service.

Dualmon Best Software for Remote Assistance
Comentarios: Excellent. The few times I have had an issue, customer service has resolved it within a few hours.
Puntos a favor:
It is very easy to setup and use. You have the choice of a permanent connection or as needed. Very flexible.
Contras:
Hate the screen after you connected asking if the user wants to let you see their screen. Duh, spent all this time setting up to be asked a silly queston.
Customer support by remote access
Comentarios: We repair and upgrade computers, and use Dualmon to configure customer machines remotely. Doing this saves engineer service time and resources for home visits.
Puntos a favor:
Accessing our office computers remotely is easy to set up and works really well. The connection is solid and we are able to work as if in the office. Once connected, servicing and fixing customer computers by remote access is easy. We don't have any evident buffering, and we are able to reboot the accessed computer and re-establish the connection afterwards. The software even allows switching between dual remote monitors, which we weren't able to do using other software previously. The web portal is great and comprehensive.
Contras:
Setting up a one-time connection to a customer does seem to be a little convoluted, but having said that the software does advise you where the customer is in the process. I'm not sure how this could be improved, to be fair.

Comentarios: Dualmon has been incredibly reliable once setup and is usually very painless to get a remote session started.
Puntos a favor:
It has a full suite of features on both Windows & MacOS end-user devices with minimal latency.
Contras:
When setting up a remote session to a user's MacBook, they have to manually set the permissions for us to view their screen, and to interact with it, within their MacBook settings.
My Review of Dualmon
Comentarios: It saves me a lot of time and gas as I can work on my friend's computer without driving 40 miles to fix their problem.
Puntos a favor:
I really like the ease of use. When I need to help someone that I have never helped before it is easy to talk them through getting the assist up and running.
Contras:
I wish the transfer speed could be faster. I transfer files from my computer to the church computer all the time.
Great remote in and screen sharing tool
Comentarios: Have used this to provide end-user support through screen share, for end-users working from home to connect to their PC, for remote server management, for training. It's easy and great.
Puntos a favor:
Has both remote connections and quick screen sharing.
Contras:
File transfer works well but is a little cumbersome.

The interface is straightforward, making it easy even for those without a tech background to get started. One feature that stands out is the robust security options available, including two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. In a time where cyber threats are ever-present, this added layer of security is invaluable. While there are other RDP solutions out there, none offer the same combination of ease-of-use, security, and valuable features at such a competitive price point.

Comentarios: Overall, it's got your basic support/remote access tools built in, and at its price there are no real competitors.

Being able to setup users quickly and securely with multi-factor authentication (beyond a OTP for portal login) per device is very helpful.

Not quite as full featured as other (more expensive) options.

Great software
Comentarios: It has saved us a lot of money and made our clients very happy. Now when a remote client(more than 20 miles away) calls with an easy fix, it is done quickly (usually within 20 minutes) instead of putting them on schedule and driving there.
Puntos a favor:
All features are great. Techs are quick to respond. We have both the remote access and remote assistance . Both are huge timesavers to keep from having to drive to a job.
Contras:
no linux client. The double screen for 2 pc's is so small.
