You can manage database on your local server or connect to any external server which is a great feature - One of the best feature which makes Navicat distinct to many other MySql applications is visual query builder where a user can drag and drop tables and make relationships using drag and drop - User can access more than one databases at the sometime - Very easy to use and supports so many database engines like PostgreSQL, MySql, Oracle and SqlLite plus cloud databases such as Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud > > **Puntos en contra**: - One of the disadvantage of Navicat Premium is its a bit expensive as compared to some other solutions but at the same time has some great features which others don't provide - Biggest issue of this tools is it doesn't have a native Linux build you can run it in Linux using wine but no native build for Linux which kind of makes it a bit slower on Linux desktops - There are few bugs in the application in general but those bugs get solved with updates so overall a good application - I believe user experience can improve a bit to make it more easier for new users too > > I am happy with overall usage of Navicat because it has helped in creating very complex SQL queries easily using its visual Query Builder. That's a plus ----- ### "NAVICAT VERSION 17" — 5.0/5 > **Kevin** | *9 de septiembre de 2026* | Software informático | Valoración de la recomendación: 10.0/10 > > **Puntos a favor**: The very intuitive interface scores very high with me. With Navicat Premium, there is no need to read a manual to start using it. > > **Puntos en contra**: Navicat is one of the pricier applications of it's kind. In this case though, you get what you pay for and Navicat delivers. If you are a professional DBA, this is the app for you. > > After using Navicat version 17 for a year I could not be more pleased with the software. Looking forward to version 18. As a Database Architect and Engineer I need the best tools available. Navicat 17 is a one stop tool to do everything and anything you need to do with a database. From MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQLite to numerous cloud databases. There truly is no other tool that compares. I have been a very long time user of Navicat. Every release gets better and better. Believe me, I have try pretty much every DB manager out there and Navicat is hands down the best and easiest to work with. One of the first benefits is that it does not matter what platform you are on. Whether it be Windows, macOS, or Linux, Navicat Premium 17 is available for all of them. With this Major release also comes a brand new design that improves usability and accessibility. The GUI interface is clean and extremely intuitive. You could easily just dive right in and start using it without have to read a single page of the manual. I really like the Data Generator. One of the problems with creating a database from the ground up is having real data to test with. With Navicat 17, the problem is solved. Navicat also comes with a built-in Chart Generator. What is great about this is that it connects to any data source. Excel, Access, or ODBC, it doesn't matter. Chart generation works for all of them. Whether you use Navicat from home or the office, the Connection Profile lets you create any number of profiles each with their own settings. Once you connect to your chosen data source, Navicat's new filtering feature allows you to easily drill down through your data to get exactly the information you want. Another great feature of Navicat is the Query Builder. This is something I find myself using quite often when creating complex queries. In a single window you can create and run your query. The summary tab provides detailed summary when you run your query. There are so many other features one could write a book on Navicat. From Data Transfer, Synchronization, Data Comparison, Importing \& Exporting data to various formats, a built-in database designer, and reverse engineering, there just isn't any other Software that compares to Navicat Premium 17. ----- ### "Moving up in the Technology World to be the best we can be for our members" — 3.0/5 > **Darlene** | *18 de septiembre de 2024* | Propiedad inmobiliaria | Valoración de la recomendación: 4.0/10 > > **Puntos a favor**: Our MLS system is Navica - MLS - Systems Engineering Incorporated > > **Puntos en contra**: It is Navica. We have outgrown the system > > It is Navica - Systems Engineering Inc. - They are not moving up in the technology world as fast as our Board has grown ----- ### "Excellent, Navicat saves you a lot of work" — 5.0/5 > **Aníbal** | *23 de junio de 2018* | Valoración de la recomendación: 9.0/10 > > **Puntos a favor**: Navicat is an excellent database client, it simplifies a lot of work, it makes backups, the migration of information between tables even between different databases is simply incredible. The option to synchronize data is something that I use frequently in a positive way and I love that it is possible to automate the tasks. The graphical interface is very beautiful and attractive, it makes the work pleasant, it is very intuitive, which allows discovering new functionalities as the tool is used. A great point in its favor is the report creator. This functionality is vital for my daily work. Reverse engineering for an amazing and surprising database has helped me develop new systems that already exist and do not have database documentation. The SQL editor is very well done. I could not ask for more than what needs to be done. > > **Puntos en contra**: Not everything can be perfect Navicat can not connect to the database DB2-AS400 which forces me to connect from another client this feature is important, another point against Navicat is that there is no native version for the Linux environment is necessary the wine emulator. > > Navicat has brought me many benefits, first of all it saves me time, there is no need to use several database clients, it allows me to automate tasks that run at night outside working hours, generate reports for my bosses, migrate information from one database to another. I am very happy with this software simplifies my life at work. ----- ### "The most useful tool to work with Databases" — 5.0/5 > **Mariam** | *25 de marzo de 2021* | Banca | Valoración de la recomendación: 9.0/10 > > **Puntos a favor**: Navicat is one of the most effective tools there is when it comes to databases. It can connect to any type of database within few clicks and has many features to personalize your working space. For instance, I have a purely black background, which helps me concentrate better. In my opinion, Navicat is one of the must-have tools for everyone who has any sort of interaction with databases. > > **Puntos en contra**: Navicat does not have preinstalled connectors. For instance, when you choose to connect to the MySQL database, it needs to connect to its servers and download required files. This might create some issues if you are only connected to the intranet or have a firewall that blocks downloads. > > Navicat has helped me and my team to be more productive. I think that its features and overall design help users be more efficient at what they do. ----- Página: 1 de 4\ Siguiente: [Página siguiente](https://www.capterra.co.cr/software/154292/navicat-premium?page=2) ## Enlaces - [Ver en Capterra](https://www.capterra.co.cr/software/154292/navicat-premium) ## Esta página se encuentra disponible en los siguientes idiomas | Local | URL | | de | | | de-AT | | | de-CH | | | en | | | en-AE | | | en-AU | | | en-CA | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-IL | | | en-IN | | | en-NZ | | | en-SG | | | en-ZA | | | es | | | es-AR | | | es-CL | | | es-CO | | | es-CR | | | es-DO | | | es-EC | | | es-MX | | | es-PA | | | es-PE | | | fr | | | fr-BE | | | fr-CA | | | fr-LU | | | it | | | nl | | | nl-BE | | | pt | | | pt-PT | | ----- ## Datos estructurados
