> **Puntos a favor**: PetDesk is extremely easy to use and has a ton of features.  The best ones being automatic reminders for appointments the ability to request medications and appointments online.  Clients can also see lab results via the patient portal.

> **Puntos en contra**: Our only major issue that we've experienced with PetDesk is the automatic confirmations sending to clients in the incorrect time zone.  PetDesk hasn't been able to give us a long term solution to this problem.

> Overall, PetDesk has been lovely.  Our biggest issue was when we were having clients get reminders in CST instead of EST- where our clinic is located.  When I brought this to the attention of PetDesk, we were notified that we need to tell clients to delete and re-install the app, which is not feasable for our large clinic to trust that all of these clients will do that.

> **Puntos a favor**: The website team was fairly solid during implementation. Our implementation specialist was pretty good - attentive and communicated well. After implementation, the customer support team is slower to respond; and they closed my first ticket without making the changes that I had requested - changes that had been previously implemented before the website went live.

> **Puntos en contra**: The phone team leaves a lot to be desired. That department seems to be a complete mess. After an initial set-up meeting, we lost all communication with our rep. Repeated contact attempts through multiple channels produced no resolution. That rep was later fired. A manager stepped in to "take personal accountability," and she went missing as well. &#10;&#10;Currently, we have unresolved issues with PetDesk Phones. The software never performed as promised. It would take too long to explain here. &#10;&#10;Currently, I have a request to our representative to give us a price for using the phone app for outbound calls only - and otherwise not using their phone service at all. Several days have passed with no response. This is typical as I always have to make multiple email, phone, and text messages to get a response from my implementation representative.

I have no choice but to actively pursuit another option for phone service. &#10;&#10;We made the tactical mistake of selecting PetDesk because of talking to their team at their booth at a veterinary conference. I did not properly vet them like I did our general PIMS provider. Please don't make the same mistake. Vet them diligently before investing time and resources. We are no better off with their phone service than we were before. We can't justify spending money with them. They are not helping us grow our practice and better serve our clients and patients.

> Our overall experience with PetDesk has been very positive on both the client side and staff side. The majority of our clients seem to love it and the few that are not interested do not need to use it. Two way texting is amazing, especially since it uses your clinic phone number; clients don't need to remember a second number\! It has all of the functions regular texting on a cellphone would have. The app is also great and has a lot of information for clients about their pets. Automated reminders have taken a lot of work away from our front desk and have driven our clients to schedule appointments when they are notified their pet is due. One thing negative I have to say is that if you have a patient where multiple people communicate with you under different numbers (such as a husband and wife) PetDesk will only recognize whichever number is keyed as the primary number for the client profile. I have been told they are working on changing that so hopefully there will be functionality for multiple phone numbers in the future. Another negative is that some settings can only be changed by PetDesk staff such as pushing a reminder at a certain time (appointment is on the schedule at 10am but you want the client there at 8am) or what types of appoinments get reminders. This is inconvenient when you need to change something on short notice and they are closed for a holiday. Those are the only two negatives so far, otherwise we have been really liking PetDesk.

> **Puntos a favor**: What our facility likes best is appointment reminders going out automatically. It has saved our front desk team a lot of time, not having to manually call each client for a day of appointments.

> **Puntos en contra**: When transferring a patient to a new client (change of owners), we have had some issues with reminders making it to the appropriate person. All has been resolved for now though, thanks to the customer service team.

> Pet Desk has been great to consolidate communications with clients. Having online booking, texts, refill requests, and reminders all on one platform has helped streamline our client relationships.
