My current association now has two Novi instances (one for FAA and one for our PAC), and it's an amazing product that just keeps getting better. For us, the seamless way Novi handles complex membership inheritance structures, accounting, event management, and data integrity/security are unparalleled. It's telling that the amazing product usability as an admin is rivaled only by how easy it is for our members to engage with us to register, pay invoices, etc. Perhaps most importantly, and I know it sounds cliche, Novi is absolutely a customer-centric and customer-driven company. They have invested heavily in maintaining the culture that made them so special even as they have scaled to a much larger AMS. > > **Puntos en contra**: It's hard to find much to criticize about Novi, because it just works so well across every fundamentally important component (and then some). If I was being nit picky (really nit picky) I'd say having a few more website templates off the shelf would be great, but I know they are already building those out\! Before the last update I was unable to pull up a report of who had joined or dropped. This has been fixed as there is a simple click on button that says Add Report/Drop Report which is very helpful\!\!\! To set this entire thing up a couple of years ago, it was a LONG process that requires lots of time. Now, having a few years under my belt, it has simplified. If you decide to use NOVI, during the set up make sure whoever is going to be using NOVI participates in the training/set up along with you-it makes things a lot easier in the long run. And to be clear, treating every customer as an individual and asking that all your employees try to keep that in mind is a decision - it is not something that automatically happens with small companies or something that you can state once as the mission of your company and just expect everyone to follow - this is something that someone somewhere in the company made an active decision about and then did their best to model the behavior they wanted. They have largely succeeded. > > **Puntos en contra**: Right now it's still difficult to quickly search members in Novi by their locations as the state fields can be entered by people in various formats. Also there is no mobile version yet but I believe that is already in their list of improvements coming up soon. > > We have been with Novi AMS for over two years. It was (and continues to be) the best decision we've ever made to switch to them to manage our association. Not only is the product everything they promised during the sales process, but they regularly add and improve features, as well as taking into account customer requests for additions.
