The software's database of cost items, assemblies, and historical pricing makes building an estimate from scratch — or pulling from past jobs — quick and reliable, which has saved our estimators countless hours during bid season. The learning curve was reasonable, and once our team got comfortable with the workflow, it became clear how much more consistent and professional our bids look compared to before. Being able to track labor, material, and equipment costs in one place, and quickly adjust for different scenarios, has given us a lot more confidence in the numbers we're putting in front of clients. Sharpe Software provides services to import your data into the software of use the software with some sample data already loaded. We chose using the sample data. It allowed us to see where things were pulling from and which fields were being used for what purpose. Back then, the tax structure in our State was different than the tax structure in California which Sharpe used as their tax model. Once they use Sharpesoft, they are amazed with how easy it is to use and how powerful the software is.
